No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cereal Bars
MAKES 12 SMALL SQUARES
INGREDIENTS
BASE:
2 tbs natural smooth peanut butter
2 tbs tahini
3 tbs maple syrup
1/4 c coconut oil
1 tsp salt
2 c cereal (I used @freedomfoods ‘Protein Crunch’)
CHOCOLATE SAUCE:
1/4 c coconut oil
2 tbs cocoa powder
1 tbs honey
METHOD
Heat a non-stick pan to a medium heat and add all ‘BASE’ ingredients, except the cereal. Heat for 2 mins until all combined. Remove from heat.
In a large mixing bowl add the heated base ingredients and cereal. Stir to mix in.
Spread mixture evenly to a slice or brownie tin lined with baking paper. Place in freezer for 10mins.
Prepare “CHOCOLATE SAUCE” by adding all ingredients to the same pan used previously, over a medium heat. Remove from heat once combined.
Remove tin from freezer and evenly drizzle sauce over the top.
Refrigerate for at least 30 mins until solid.
Remove from tin and chop slice into 12 evenly sized squares.
Store in fridge.
