Apple Crumble
SERVES 4-6
INGREDIENTS
800g tin of stewed apples
3/4 c coconut flour
3/4 c plain flour
2 tbs butter
1 tbs coconut oil
2 tbs maple syrup
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced oven). Grease a large baking dish lightly with butter.
Add apples to the baking dish and spread out evenly.
Add all wet ingredients to a microwave safe dish and melt for 20 seconds (butter, coconut oil and maple syrup).
Measure out plain and coconut flour into a mixing bowl and add melted wet ingredients.
Using the back of a spoon rub ingredients together until a crumbly mixture has formed.
Sprinkle the crumble over the apples and place into oven for 30-40mins depending.
Serve warm with ice-cream or greek yoghurt.
