Apple Crumble

SERVES 4-6

INGREDIENTS

  • 800g tin of stewed apples

  • 3/4 c coconut flour

  • 3/4 c plain flour

  • 2 tbs butter

  • 1 tbs coconut oil

  • 2 tbs maple syrup

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced oven). Grease a large baking dish lightly with butter.

  2. Add apples to the baking dish and spread out evenly.

  3. Add all wet ingredients to a microwave safe dish and melt for 20 seconds (butter, coconut oil and maple syrup).

  4. Measure out plain and coconut flour into a mixing bowl and add melted wet ingredients.

  5. Using the back of a spoon rub ingredients together until a crumbly mixture has formed.

  6. Sprinkle the crumble over the apples and place into oven for 30-40mins depending.

  7. Serve warm with ice-cream or greek yoghurt.
