Peanut Maple Cereal Slice

MAKES 12 PIECES

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups rice puffs - I used the Gluten Free Freedom Foods Rice Puffs

  • 3 tbs coconut oil

  • 3 tbs peanut butter

  • 2 tbs maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: sliced strawberries and pumpkin seeds

METHOD

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Add dry cereal to a large mixing bowl and set aside.

  3. On the stove or using the microwave melt peanut butter, coconut oil and both sweeteners.

  4. Pour over cereal and ad a pinch of salt.

  5. Pour mixture into lined baking tray and press firmly into place. Adding your choice of toppings.

  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour and enjoy!!
